Removing these upper ball joints, which are riveted into the A-arms, is a tough job. Grinders, punches, a drill press and an air chisel got involved in this job, but they finally are out.
Though about 10 percent of the Earth is covered in sand, the sandblaster is fresh out of the stuff so only one A-arm got sandblasted today.
It's been rust treated and the other parts associated with this assembly await a refill of the sand that is used to sandblast parts.Rains over the last few days have much of the sand in the area of the sandblaster soaking wet and unusable. Surely there will be time in the coming days to pick up a bit of sand and blast the other parts.
