Boots

The upper A-arms are next. These need new bushings and since the ball joint boots apparently can't be replaced without removing the upper ball joint, we might as well replace the ball joint too. They are riveted in, but that wont be a big deal. It's a lot of work to just replace the boot, so might as well do it all.

Once it is confirmed that there is no way to save the ball joints, these will be ground out.

The A-arm bushings were driven out with the shop press and some hammering.

All totaled, this job requires about $200 in parts, a $100 tool to reinstall the bushings, paint and lots of labor, but it will look great once it's done.
