Coming back together

The water pump housing was media blasted, removing so many layers of paint, rust and grime to reveal a very nice casting.

After a bit of cleanup and electroplating, the fan hub is all ready to be reinstalled as well. The water pump gets painted with the engine as a complete assembly and the fan hub is also covered by the pulley, but it's still nice to know that the plating process should keep it from rusting again.
