Making it harder than it needs to be

After a few hours of work with a heat gun to carefully remove the bonding strips from this patch panel, it's ready for the long process of grafting it into the rear clip of the car.

Trying to make this repair a good one and one that is a little more difficult to detect is making this more complicated. There is a desire to use one of the rear bonding strips to bond this back to the car, thereby covering up a huge part of the inevitable scar that this process is going to leave. We'll see what a few days of reflection on the plan of attack does to change the plan.
