Lining up

The car has two tail light/brake light assemblies and two reverse light assemblies. They are not the same, though they look it at first glance. The 1968 to late 1971 cars had fiber optic lines that carry light up to the instruments to let the driver see that there are no bulbs out. This was a futuristic but fussy system that was abandoned just before my car was built. The two assemblies look very similar with the fiber optics removed.

The reproduction assemblies are really nice parts, but they are not cheap. There will be about $500 in parts just to put these lights together and have them ready to put on the car.
