Separation anxiety

With a little heat from a heat gun and some prying with a putty knife, the door skin came away from the shell enough to wedge the two apart to allow this repair.

The inside of the door skin, like the right side, has some writing on it, but it looks like the date work began to build the door. This car was completed Oct. 7, 1971, so a date of Sept. 27 makes sense.

I wish this side had some graffiti like the other side. That made me laugh.
