Good repair

The rusted portion of the lower door shell was removed and this piece was welded in. It's not perfect and it was far from straightforward since this piece came from a passenger-side door, but in the end this will be a really good repair.

A little light grinding to smooth out the welds made this look really good.

There is a small spot that will have to be cut out and repaired in a similar fashion, but it's going to be a much easier repair to make.

Some time in the blast cabinet to remove some surface rust before rust conversion and this will be ready for body work.
