This birdcage rocker channel was an affordable one found on eBay, but it wasn't cheap. It's a little rusty, but the seller assures that the portion that is needed for this car is in good shape.
As mentioned earlier, the original part is stamped and follows a few curves that the reproduction part does not feature. This part is completely obscured by the fiberglass rocker cover, the rocker trim moulding and the sill plate so it is virtually invisible unless the car is taken apart. Yet, no corner was cut on this car so far so why start that now?
Once it comes in it will be cut apart and stitch-welded into the birdcage of the car.
