Next purchase

One of the last parts that is easy to restore was the horn.

Crusty with several paint jobs worth of overspray, dirt and even a mud dauber's nest, it was incredible to test this horn and see that it actually still works.

It was media blasted, primed and painted matte black.

A new HVLP paint gun with a smaller tip is my planned purchase once payday rolls around. This 2.5mm gun, regardless of how dialed back it is, still leaves runs.

It's great for the heavy epoxy primer that has been so great to use, but a 1.5mm gun will atomize this paint finer and make painting a lot easier.

These will be sanded back and the horn will get its final topcoat, which it needs anyway and will take care of the sanding marks.
