Little help from my friends

The center seat belt reinforcement was removed from the car and taken to be galvanized, not an easy process to arrange for one small part. The galvanizers are used to working with customers with a large number of parts to dip, not some dork with one car part to plate.

The chrome shop owner had some items to take to the galvanizer, so he threw this part in and presto!

It looks great.
