Calling in reinforcements

 It's time to refinish the multitude of reinforcements that are attached to the bottom of the body of the car and provide a way to bolt things like the seats, seatbelts and battery cable to the body.

The ones used to attach inside rear attachment points of the seats' four corners were removed and electroplated and reattached today. Once they were riveted back into place, they were sealed using asphalt sealer as they were from the factory.

The two seatbelt reinforcements are next.

The battery cables should show up in the morning so they will need to be attached.

Next will be the clips used to secure the heat insulation for the tunnel.
