Bearing the weight

The little tab at the top of the door skin is a fragile little piece of fiberglass. It's in a spot on the door that is a natural spot for folks to push on with the heel of their hands as they get in and out of the car. The result is that these get snapped off of many of these cars, and this car was no exception. The left side was dangling by some fiberglass fibers and the right side was missing entirely.

A new piece of fiberglass was cut from a piece of scrap and bonded to the car. After 24 hours this will have cured and work can begin to fill this in and make it disappear.
