Harbor Freight

Who knew Harbor Freight has 12-inch clamps for $9.99?

The damaged section of the rear deck was cut away and the new section is being bonded in. Bonding strips and panel bond mixed with traditional fiberglass will keep this from going anywhere. It's not a perfect repair, but it was never going to be — at least not from beneath. From the outside after body work is complete, no one will ever see it.

It's shocking to see the car cut up like this, but it's the best way to repair the rear and get a good result. The rear deck and tail light panel were so crunched, repairing them wasn't an option.
