After spending five months restoring the hardtop, it's finally finished and ready to set aside.
The 21 Velcro-like attachment parts were replaced with new and though not great, the headliner is as securely attached as it was when new. Several Corvette restorers suggested putting adhesive in the webbing of the plastic pieces that keep this headliner attached to to the hardtop and that is probably a really great suggestion. After most of the day with 40-pound buckets of blasting compound sitting on this, it feels like it's going to stay put.
