Though most Corvette vendors have been claiming that this front header bow for the convertible is not available with no end in sight for the national back order, a quick check of one of the more obscure suppliers and lo and behold they had one in stock. It just takes some digging, apparently.
There are a few differences in this reproduction when compared with the original part, but the differences are not very substantial.
Holes for the trim panel's screws will have to be drilled and the assembly will have to be welded to the frame, but other than that, this is an impressive part.
The tack strips are rubber instead of the original fiberboard, but that's an easy change to make.
