The passenger seat frame back was in very good condition, all things considered. There was a modest amount of rust on the bottom, but that is understandable with all of the water that was in the car. The upper part was in nearly mint condition. Media-blasting was easy and took only a few minutes.
It was coated with a thin coat of rust converter and set aside to allow the converter to work and to dry before it is primed in the morning.
