Secret agent

 

The matting agent that was used to knock down the clear coat on these didn't really do much of anything. So much was used that there was a worry that the clear coat wouldn't cure, but in the end, its effect was minimal at best.

It will, however, protect this paint from the elements and this part from rusting at the seam between the two pieces of metal.
