The jack storage and locking storage compartments will also be repaired during this process before the entire structure gets primed and painted.
The battery compartment cleaned up well, but it's so heavily damaged that it's best to section it out and replace it with a donor part.
With a little work with a sander, this repair should turn out well and be difficult to detect.
