There is some pitting in the rocker rails of the birdcage, but nothing major other than one bad spot beneath the A pillar. This is 1/8-inch steel, plenty thick enough to retain more than enough strength with a little pitting.
The edge was damaged, but the edge is the part that shows from beneath the fiberglass rocker. This was cut out and repaired with new metal.After a bit of grinding, this is ready for body work.
