The latch for the right door came today and it looks like a very nice part. The hardware that was supplied isn't very good, but the original oval-head machine screws were restored really quickly and it all looks great.
Despite promises to the contrary, the window tracks are still not ready to pick up from the plater. There are several more parts for this car that are too big for the electroplating setup in the shop, so this is sort of a trial run to find a company to use in the future. This particular company is not very high on the list so far, but we'll see what their work looks like whenever they get around to refinishing them.
With the window tracks, this door can be assembled up to the garnish moulding and weather stripping.
