Sand sand sand
After two rounds of fiberglass filler, the rocker is looking really good. The goal is to sand the jambs entirely and get it under primer so eventually a few things can be painted body color.
Included in this is of course the headlight bezels.
The first one has been repaired, sanded and filled and now has a nice coat of epoxy primer/sealer.
This high-build primer is really very nice and filled in the 120-grit sanding marks easily. Once the jambs and the other headlight bezel are ready, they will be wet-sanded at 800-grit and then again at 2,000-grit before body color is sprayed out.
