Patchwork
The fiberglass rocker cover is now fully bonded back onto the birdcage. The piece that covers the base of the A-pillar was cut out of the piece that came from the donor car since the one that came off this car was damaged and incomplete.
By tomorrow evening, this will all be ready to be sanded so body filler can be added to cover up all of the seams from cutting the fiberglass off of the car in pieces. Again, sort of overkill since this all gets covered up, but that's OK. It's good practice.
More pieces from the parking brake assembly were restored as well
The switch that lights the brake warning light on the dash was in bad shape, but probably could have been made to function again before I broke it trying to take it apart to electroplate it.
Luckily, this part was used from 1968 to 1982 and is still available.
