Aircraft
A new, low-VOC paint stripper made by the Aircraft company was a welcome sight at the parts store. It works great and stripped the failed paint from the wiper door mechanism. A pressure washer was used to remove the softened paint which also worked well.
The assembly was detailed and treated for rust before sealed up with etching primer.
Again, it's too hot to paint so it will be another early morning tomorrow to get this under paint. To avoid problems with the matting agent this time, two quarts of acrylic enamel of different sheens will be mixed to get the correct sheen.
In addition, a few other parts will be shot black to take advantage of having this sheen of paint in the gun.
