Slow

The process of getting the body ready to be reunited with the front clip is proving to be a slow one and one that will probably need to wait for a bit. It's clear that having the front clip off makes certain repairs so much easier that it might be a while before it's glued back on.

That's OK since it's going to take several 200mL tubes of panel bond to put this back together and each one is $40.

First on the list is to remove the rust from and then paint the lower portion of the birdcage that sits atop the frame. This is going green to match the rest of the birdcage. The rust is very minor and aside from a few spots is only surface rust.

There is one spot that will have to be cut out and replaced, but only in an effort to make it as nice as possible.
