Figured something out
The left wiper arm got its washer tube brazed on and its coat of paint after a bit of a wait for it to come in the mail. The paint took two attempts and it still is far from perfect. It's a real struggle to get a thin coat of paint to lay down.
The problem seems to be the size of the tip of this HVLP gun. It's a fairly large tip, a 2.5 mm. As handy as this gun has been with the thick epoxy primer that has been shot lately, perhaps a gun with a smaller tip for these thinner paints would yield better results.
