After bead-blasting all the parts of the pedal box, everything was primed and painted with a matte steel paint.

The part that was most interesting was the brake pedal return spring which was, when it was new, a bright orange. There is always one part that is fun to restore since it makes such a huge transformation or the finished product is showy and bright, and this is the one for this part of the car.

A NOS clutch safety switch still needs to be purchased, but that will happen on some payday in the near future.
Funny to be working so hard on an item that no one will ever see unless they lay in the floorboard and look up, but that's how it goes.
It looks great already, especially with the pedal pads and frames. That's such a cool feature on these cars. The gas pedal assembly was also restored and the gas pedal has a similar stainless steel frame around it to complement the clutch and brake pedals.
