This transmission is in pretty bad shape, but it's completely repairable.
There are many internal parts that must be replaced, but there are parts readily available for these.
The gear oil in this poor thing was very low so it got very hot. That left everything covered in sooty burnt oil. Cleaning that off is going to require time in a industrial parts washer, so this is going to be taken to a local transmission shop for a bath. That's the first step.
