New is sometimes better

The half shafts were unbolted from the rear trailing arms and separated from the U-joints.

Three of the four appear to be original Spicer U-joints and one was in horrible condition.

If it was any other part, these would be restored and reused, but putting new U-joints on this car is the smarter and safer choice.
