The lower ball joint was drilled out and the bushings were pressed out, leaving a pair of lower A-arms that were ready to be sandblasted. Getting them sandblasted meant putting 150 pounds of sand through the sandblaster several times, but they are finally blasted. They have been treated with a rust converter and will sit and dry for a few days before they are scuffed and put under epoxy primer.
There is unseasonably warm weather on its way here that should last long enough to allow this to get done after work, though that means doing it by flashlight in the dark.
They turned out well with very few spots that will need attention and perhaps a little welding before that happens.
The pivots and hardware are ready to go, though one needed to be straightened a bit in the press beforehand.
