After some welding to seal up the holes in the front crossmember and a little body work to smooth it all out, the crossmember and the two gussets were primed in.
The interior of the crossmember will be sealed and treated for rust with the same paint system that was used to seal the inside of the frame. Once the paint comes in, this will get painted and set aside to cure.
