The big pull

After removing the very stubborn differential crossmember, it was time to pull the engine and transmission. This is a milestone made a little less fun by the fact that the engine stand needed to store the engine is at a the house of a friend who is replacing the engine in a Ford Bronco so for now the engine is going to have to live on the floor of the shop on some boards.

Some ingenuity is going to be needed to get the coil springs out safely from between the A-arms of the front suspension, but that's a worry for later.
