With the contours of the front basically right, now begins the process of going over the entire shell with the fine-toothed comb of glazing or finishing putty. The industry standard is USC Icing, a polyester that is a pure pleasure to use.
It goes on in incredibly thin coats and are sanded to 320 grit, leaving behind a flawless surface that is smooth as glass.
This is a very pleasing step to see as it moves along and will leave the front of the car ready for the first coat of epoxy primer.
