Next on the to-do list is to widen the right inner fender to meet up with the core support, a bit of fiberglass work that will have to be done in stages with the assistance of a heat lamp.
It's still very cold outside, and inside the shop. It's far from the 70 degrees it needs to be to do fiberglass work. A heat lamp and some patience will make this possible.
To accomplish this, the panel has been sliced so fiberglass can be added to widen it to meet up with the core support.There is no 'close' with fiberglass. If it doesn't fit perfectly and isn't shimmed, it will crack after it is tightened. This was too far a gap to shim so this is the best resolution.
