Generation gap

This generation of Corvette is notorious for bad panel gaps, and this car was not spared that quality. The B-pillar gap is acceptable after a bit of wrangling and will improve with a shim in the rear body mount.

It's good enough that, with the door in place, bodywork on the door can start.

There is some fiberglass work to do, most of which is the removal of the three extra holes that were drilled into the door to add different side mirrors. It took a minute to figure out which holes were the original for the original-style mirror.

The right door had a mirror added as well, so those holes will all need to be filled.
