Redux

The seat back release assembly was split into to pieces by grinding off the rivets that hold it together, media-blasted, polished and electroplated. It's all shiny again now.

Once the release mechanism is done soaking in acid to remove rust, it too will be polished and electroplated before it is all riveted back together.

The zig-zag wires were clipped to the seat cover through the seat back foam.

Once the seat back frame is restored and the hinges come back from chrome, this is ready to be put together.

Doing all of this a second time is yielding such better results.
