Better the second time around

In the time before work today, the passenger seat bottom was put together and is now ready to go back into the car. Like everything else, the second time doing something and the results are better. It's also been two years between seats, so the restorer is a bit more polished as well.

The bottom seat frame was crushed by people standing on the seat to enter the car and was very rusty.

Now it's all repaired, square and freshly painted.

Several parts have to be ordered and the hinges have to come back from the chrome shop before the seat back can be assembled and this can be put back together, but some of the preliminary work can be done this weekend.
