The rear bulkhead of the birdcage is next. This was stripped of the contact cement that was used to bond the carpeting to it and the surface rust was mitigated. Once this is all complete, it will be primed and prepared for green paint.
This area is of course out of sight beneath carpeting and jute, which makes doing all of this work oddly all the more satisfying for some reason.
You can build your home on sand or on stone. You're choosing stone, wisely.
