Transplant

After making minor repairs to the donor battery compartment floor, it was trimmed and readied for the process of grafting it onto the car.

Before that could happen, the original piece needed to be removed from the car.

Both pieces were trimmed to two inches high so they would match and the size of the compartment wouldn't change.

It's a little disconcerting to cut such a huge hole in the car, but this repair should turn out well.
