For some odd reason, the left front grille went on sale for a fraction of its normal price on eBay from one of the main parts vendors a few days ago. These GM-sponsored reproductions made with the original castings normally fetch $700 and up with NOS versions going for $1,000 each. Yet, there it was for $200.
To be honest, even $200 was a lot at that moment, but it was too good to pass up.
If it was a fire sale, that fire is out now. If it was a mistake, it has been corrected. The price is back up to $700 again. Weird.
And to be clear, these are absolutely lovely parts. Perfect in every way.
