Somebody's been here before


As this is stripped of paint, it's becoming clear that there is a lot more filler in the driver side than it appeared. Fixing anything takes work, but fixing something after someone else fixed it takes even more work.

The fuel door was primed in and wet-sanded to 800 grit. This will get another coat of primer and be ready to set aside for when the car is painted.

Working on this part offers the fun of ordering the cross-flags emblem for the door, one of the best bits of jewelry on this car.
