Coming to the end

The grilles that cover the rear opening for the Astro Ventilation system, like everything else on this car, are covered in several layers of paint. These are cast aluminum as well, so there might be some body work that needs to be done once they are media blasted to make them smooth.

These are nearly the the last of the parts that will be restored and put back on this car. There is still plenty to purchase for this car, but there are few parts left that will be restored.

Once these are stripped and any flaws are smoothed out with glazing putty, these will be shot with epoxy primer and stored away.
