Sculpture

It's difficult to make any sense out of this part, but this is the bottom of the fender behind the right front wheel. Road debris and nearly 50 years have caused a few pieces of this part of the front clip to break off.

It's still not clear what screws onto this part, but this tab was broken off so it had to be rebuilt. A hole will be drilled as it was originally and a U nut will be slipped onto this once it's done. Surely by the time this car is being reassembled, what exactly screwed onto this tab will be known. It's probably the rocker trim, but time will tell.

The hole for the forward splash pan was also repaired along with some missing fiberglass where the clip is bonded to the cowl. This is a slow process, but the results are already making it worth it.
