After the reproduction bracket for the deck lid's bump stop came in, it was painted and assembled. A set of reproduction bolts came in to attach it to the deck lid. They aren't great. Though they have a similar headmark, the heads are supposed to be 7/16 but they are 3/8 and look weird.
They will do until some originals can be found and restored.
After installing this, it was clear that the etching primer and the epoxy primer reacted to one another because the paint lifted. All of these parts will have to be repainted, which is disappointing, but that's part of it.
