Long process

The left side louver is finally under primer after what seemed like 284 hours of sanding.

Most tedious was masking off the edges that are left unpainted and show as bright chrome.

This is of course pot metal, so after 50 years it's anything but perfect. The first round of filler took care of the pitting for the most part, but some of the pitting happened on the edges which aren't painted.

These will of course be painted with the car. When the time comes, these will be masked off again, painted body color and then cleared.
