After a day of work welding a crack in the door shell, media-blasting and chemically treating rust and stripping paint with a heat gun, this is ready for chemical paint stripping. After that, it will be safe to bond the door skin fully back to the shell.
Paint stripper has proven to be the best option since it leaves all of the marks from stretching in the metal stamp that are meant to be seen in the door shell. Once painted, it looks so much more original when these aren't lost by sanding.
