Now that the forward corner is finished and more or less ready for primer and blocking, it was time to start stripping the many layers of paint on the lock-plate end of the door.
This was so thick with paint, it looks like this car was painted with a ladle.
It seemed easier to use chemical paint stripper to get such thick paint off such a contoured piece.
Once this works, perhaps a wire wheel and Scotch-Brite pads on the Roloc will polish this and get it ready for filler and primer.
