NEXT!


A little paint correction work and this enormous project is done.

After a little sanding with 800-, 1,000-, and 2,000-grit sandpaper and then a bit of buffing, this is as smooth as glass. The various shims used to level the assemblies in the body were restored as well.

The machine screws that attach the bezels look like 10-24 thread, so we'll try some of those from the hardware store and see.

Next? The dreaded rusty door repair.
