The spare tire tub is next up for restoration. This hangs beneath the car in the rear and is made of fiberglass. There is a lot of overspray and the metal frame is very rusty.

Since this hangs very low, the lower corner of the fiberglass tub is heavily damaged from striking things as the car moved along. This will have to be routed out and repaired from the inside, where the repair won't show.

The metal frame is nearly too big to fit into the blast cabinet, but it should be able to be blasted with a little patience.

Once it's smoothed, primed and painted, and the tub is repaired, primed and painted, they can be riveted together again.
