Redo
A replacement brass washer tube was soldered onto the right wiper arm. It's a nice enough part, but it was damaged in shipping. Using photographs and with a little twisting and bending, it was straightened out and installed.
A left wiper arm that has the spring cover still attached will have to be located and the washer tube will have to be soldered on before both are media blasted and painted. These washer tubes and spring covers fall off and are rarely still attached after 50 years.
Paint that was used on the wiper transmissions and the wiper door mechanism apparently went bad over the winter because after nearly a week, it still hasn't cured. New paint is in and everything is going to be repainted this weekend.
Having to redo things really stinks, but it happens sometimes. Progress this weekend will probably look a lot like last weekend.
