If there is anything to be learned by getting older, it's to make a plan before charging head-on into something. How the front clip is removed and where the seam is exactly is proving a bit difficult to figure out by simply looking at the car. It's very dirty and there are still so many accessories that need to be removed to make room to work. After a bit of investigation, it's going to be something to tackle next week after a bit of reading.
Instead, most of this weekend was dedicated to removing more components like the windshield wiper system and wiper door system to make room.
With the removal of these and several other items — and a bit more reading and looking at photographs of other cars on the Internet — the front clip can be removed without damage in the coming weeks.
